Visit us at: itag.gamecity.org www.facebook.com/iTAG.conf twitter.com/#!/ITAG12 With only three weeks to go before GameCity7 officially opens its doors, the ITAG (http://itag.gamecity.org/) team are working with academics and practitioners to bring you the latest interactive technologies which are driving innovative developments within Education, Health and Disability. ITAG 2012 has a particular focus on the use of gaming hardware and software to implement accessible solutions, interaction design and the use of computing on our everyday well-being. There is a strong theme this year about how the conference engages research with people with intellectual disabilities and their use of games to develop skills that can promote their employment on mobile platforms, and how games can be used to teach mathematical skills. Some other highlights of the 2012 conference include: - Interactive workshops using technology to make music - Demonstration of Brain-Computer Interfaces - Key note addresses from prominent international speakers including Monica Whitty, Pam Kato and Mark Griffiths - An exhibition open to the public demonstrating applications of games for health and education and assistive technologies - Meet researchers and user communities who can help pull your projects together, make new connections and think up new ideas. - The programme includes presentations of papers, workshops and an exhibition space for demonstrations and posters.
