A reader system

Adaptive, a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, has produced Expert Reader, a stand-alone aid for blind people that is able to translate into high quality speech any kind of text. The technology used for character recognition is the same already implemented in the Xerox's software TextBridge Pro 98.
